July - Three Things We Are Loving

We have one. We admire her. And, we love supporting her and other female bosses running big and small businesses. This month, we're shining a spotlight on three remarkable female leaders who have made waves in their respective fields.

These three trailblazers —Rosalind Brewer, Jodi Fyfe, and Cyndi Ramirez-Fulton— have broken barriers and left a lasting impact on the industries they operate in.

Roz Brewer is a beacon of success, as one of the few female and minority Fortune 500 CEOs. Her impressive journey has taken her from Walmart to Sam’s Club to Starbucks to her current role as the CEO of Walgreens. What sets Roz apart is not only her remarkable achievements and desire to make positive, lasting change for millions of lives, but her stance on leadership. She understands the importance of creating a nurturing environment where employees feel heard and valued. She recognizes that open communication is just as important as diversity. Through her mindful leadership, she cultivates a culture of respect, understanding, and growth. Roz makes a lasting impact on the organizations she leads and inspires a new generation of emotionally intelligent leaders.

Jodi has taken the food scene by storm, revolutionizing the service industry through personalized, innovative, and thoughtfully curated culinary experiences. Her latest venture, Eden, has quickly become the talk of the town in Chicago. She also provides training, career development, and mentoring for individuals with a focus on inclusivity. Whenever the name Cyndi Ramirez-Fulton is mentioned, style and sass surely flow. Self-proclaimed "The Queen of Chill," Cyndi is not only a dedicated working mom but also the driving force behind her own business, Chillhouse. As a first-generation Latinx, she envisioned a venture that would provide people with an escape from their daily lives, centered around wellness, mental health, and self-care. Sounds pretty familiar to our CHILL family. Inclusivity lies at the core of her mission, aligning perfectly with our goal of making mental health resources and self-care accessible to everyone, anywhere. With her online presence and physical coffee shop/spa/salons in New York and Paris, Cyndi has created a universe that offers a range of self-care experiences and products. Very CHILL, indeed.
